👍🏾💯👏🏾 Perfect explanation of the Christchurch EQ situation as it pertains to "hidden" damage & the legitimacy (until now?) for it being covered. I was "lucky" in that I was renting at the time so my landlord(s) have had to deal with the major stress, although it was pretty stressful being ejected from my home - 1st by the EQ's themselves, then by the landlord not allowing a return to retrieve possessions (mind you, as the high-rise had to eventually be demolished for safety reasons, they were right to only allow limited access with structural engineers going in first & standing by for the duration - I guess to explain why the building was collapsing underneath us during an after-shock?🤷🏾‍♀️) And then finding a semi-munted house that got plumbing restored & was cheap to rent until I returned to being a home owner with the ability to buy a house that had withstood everything with only minor cracks - AS FAR AS WE KNOW! I think it is fine, as the land under didn't move much & didn't liquefy at all, but my immediate neighbours still had major repairs years later, so I always keep my 🤞🏽that nothing will emerge down the line that will cost for essential remediation. I know people who have/still are living with the stress of getting legitimate claims & repairs carried out - See-less is a total loss as a "representative" of anyone but his warped mind & his "friends" with warped minds as to democracy & their vested interests in having an oligarchy run Aotearoa 🤢🤬

Great piece Sapphi. Frankly, trying to understand the motives of Seymour who is masquerading as a true representative of the people is beyond me. I’m still recovering from his appalling school lunch fiasco. The image of him stuffing his face with crap destined for school kids and smiling is haunting. Mmmmm, so processed, so yummy, mmmmm, delicious. Look at me pretend it’s great while I’m choking on it. Those images should ring alarm bells for all of us. Health concerns for children: ZERO. This guy is not good for Kiwis. He doesn’t respect treaty. He doesn’t respect children. He doesn’t respect precedence, aka earthquake insurance. Deputy PM shortly, good grief. Thanks Luxon, you two are peas in a rotting pod. Anyone even vaguely considering voting for ACT or this clown again in 2026 should really do their homework to avoid the nasty consequences of giving this individual the ability to influence anything ever again. If Seymour truly believed in democracy like he advocates ad nauseam, then he would respect he is only MR 8%. Where is his mandate? Of course, that’s right. It comes compliments of a weak, desperate, Luxon. The so-called highly experienced, high-powered CEO, aka, the negotiator, who got screwed every which way to Sunday in coalition negotiations. I digress, perhaps start with a deep dive into Atlas and read up on the end game of libertarians. Spoiler alert: it isn’t pretty.

I also often wonder who is buying David Seymour's schtick at this point in time...
